Things I’m Loving Thursday 8/13

Hi All! I hope you are having a lovely Thursday, whether it is the morning or afternoon where you are! Here, in New York City, it is gloomy and rainy. I was able to take Rani out right before the heavy rain started so that’s good! As usual, since it’s Thursday, I am going to share three things that I am loving on this Thursday!

3. The Umbrella Academy: I started this show last weekend because I was bored and I quickly got sucked into it! It’s about these people all born on the same day and they have super powers. One of them returns from time traveling and tells the others that the apocalypse is coming and they have to stop it! I thought that the first and second seasons were great!

My favorite character is Allison!

2. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid: HOLY MOLY READERS! This is a god one! I read this 400 page book in two days because I needed to know what happened. This book is about Evelyn Hugo and her seven husbands (duh!) but there is a forbidden love affair. Evelyn Hugo is being interviewed by Monique but Monique doesn’t know that she is connected to Evelyn Hugo too. 10/10 would recommend reading! I’ll be doing a proper book review for it next week so stay tuned for that!

1. Beaded Bracelets: I have been seeing beaded bracelets like this on so many people. I actually ordered one on Etsy that says “Manifest.” They are super cute with other plain gold or silver beaded bracelets. I prefer to buy my bracelets like this on Etsy because I have small wrists so I can get them custom made to fit! This is the jeweler I bought mine from!

This picture is taken from the Etsy jeweler I mentioned!

I hope you enjoy some of things that I’m loving! As always, let me know if you try, read, or watch any of these! Have a wonderful rest of your Thursday!

  1. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was such a great read. In fact, I’ve read a few other books by Taylor Jenkins Reid and enjoyed them all, especially Daisy Jones and The Six, which I LOVED! Have you read that one yet?
